Adopting a weightless style is the Ballon Bleu watch by Cartier, thanks to its gentle curves and soft design. Crafted in 2007 for a unisex audience, this timepiece echoes those traditional round shapes with a more balanced design, particularly noted in the winding crown that is perfectly integrated into the case. To avoid any breaking of the circumference, the bezel, case and dial gently contour round the winding crown, whilst traditional roman numerals and sword-shaped hands pay tribute to the Maison’s design language seen across their watch offering.
The Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier Watch is crafted in a steel case, the 36mm watch has a fluted steel crown, set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel. The steel bezel is set with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling in weight of 0.78ct. The watch showcases a sunray brushed dial with 21 brilliant cut diamonds, totalling in weight of 0.19ct. Displaying blued-steel sword-shaped hands. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal. Finished on an interchangeable steel bracelet. Powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding.
