Since 1833, the manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre has continually renewed its creativity and inventiveness, producing refined timepieces with an unwavering dedication to master craftsmanship. In the Swiss Jura Mountains, in the Vallée de Joux, one hundred and eighty with different expertise and skills are brought together to bring life to the magnificent Jaeger-LeCoultre wristwatches.
Laings is proud to present Jaeger-LeCoultre at this year’s Watches and Wonders, a celebration of Swiss excellence and ultimate luxury in watchmaking. This year, the brand introduces a new selection of Reverso models which balance unique design and ultimate precision to create elegant sophistication. Unfold the infinity with Jaeger-LeCoultre.
For 2021, recalling the early use of colour that distinguished the Reverso, La Grande Maison presents the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in Green. The rich tone of the sunray-brushed lacquer dial and matching leather strap is reminiscent of the deep green of the pine forests that surround Jaeger LeCoultre’s home in the Vallée de Joux.
Born in 1931, at the height of the Art Deco period, the Reverso was created in response to the challenge of designing a wristwatch that could withstand the rigours of polo matches.
Capitalising on the polo spirit linked to the Reverso and the long-lasting partnership with the famous Argentinian polo bootmaker Casa Fagliano, Jager-Lecoultre is launching a new summer collection of straps inspired by the polo boots designed by Fagliano himself.
Today, a fine watch does so much more than simply tell the time, it’s a personal and intimate object that can symbolise our special moments and some of our most treasured memories. When Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Reverso almost 90 years ago, its reversible blank case was designed purely as a functional solution to cater to the need of polo players to protect the delicate glass of their watches. Now, this rotating case gives you the option to create a personalised Reverso.
