EDINBURGH REFLECTION

One of the most beautiful cities in the world with low crime and fantastic centre for the arts, fun, old pubs and fine dining. That’s probably why so many people come to Edinburgh to propose and return on key anniversaries.

One of my most magical memories ever was standing with my lovely wife on a balcony overlooking Princes Street before the strike of New Year. Princes Street and the gardens below the castle were packed with well over 100,000 Scots and tourists from all around the globe, all singing John Lennon’s “Imagine” – Singing as one with a sea of twinkling flames from thousands of lighters all swaying to the music.

It was followed by a silence then an incredible cheer as everyone realised and celebrated their unity and magical togetherness. It was closely followed by a countdown to midnight and the most spectacular explosive fireworks display from the Castle above us….

Whow …. What a memory ~ What a very special city !
