DIAMOND MANAGER IN HAMPSHIRE WINS!

One of the leading diamond experts in Hampshire has beat off stiff competition from over 250 nominees to reach the finals and win the coveted title of Employee of the Year at the 2014 Natwest Southampton Venus Awards. Natasha Still, assistant manager of Southampton’s most prestigious independent jeweller Parkhouse Hampshire – which was founded in 1794 and celebrates its 220th anniversary this year - was one of three finalists in her category with all winners unveiled at a glittering awards ceremony at the Café Grand on 24 June 2014. The Venus Awards, which were founded in 2010, seek to recognise the achievements of women in business across 14 award categories ranging from Business Mother of the Year, Employee and Employer up to the High Achiever and Lifetime Achievement Award. Commenting on the news, Natasha Still said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to win this award although it was quite a surprise as I had no idea I’d been nominated. It’s a huge honour and just lovely to know that one of my customers put my name forward. We have a great team at Parkhouse and it’s the whole experience that makes the difference to our clients so a fantastic win for all of us. Retail Director of Parkhouse Hampshire, Anthony Burtenshaw, added: “We’re absolutely delighted for Natasha. She’s an inspirational manager and this win is testament to her passion, knowledge and focus on providing the highest levels of customer service at all times.”
