This month marks the launch of the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Drawing crowds from all over the globe, the showcase provides a packed programme of creative acts in the world’s largest arts festival. Laings was delighted to mark the beginning of the calendar by supporting the 40th anniversary of the Assembly Festival Gala.
An official launch of the annual festival, the Assembly Gala showcases the best from the upcoming programme in an incredible variety show. Journalists, VIPs, and performers lined the rows in awe of the talent on display. Big names and festival new-comers from far and wide graced the stage with Assembly’s five-star line up including the renowned Choir of Man, award winning Susie McKay, supercharged Circus act FLIP Fabrique and many more.
To honour the wonderful partnership, Laings hosted a pre-gala reception in our Edinburgh Showroom where esteemed guests mingled with Lanson champagne and canapes, surrounded by an exquisite selection of ruby pieces in a collection curated to celebrate the Gala’s 40th anniversary.
Performing everything from Shakespeare to stand up, Laings is proud to partner with such a creative institution that treasures the arts while supporting new talent in an industry outside of our own.
