Launched in 1997, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut was revolutionary in its casual design and technical perfection. Now, Patek Philippe revisits the iconic collection as it launches seven new Aquanaut models including the first complication featured in the Aquanaut Luce.
The undeniable character and casual chicness of the Aquanaut has affirmed its cult status for over twenty-four years. This new series marks a monumental chapter in the collection and adds to its overall allure.
Patek Philippe brings a new charm to the Aquanaut Luce with an enlarged diameter of 38.8 mm (previously 35.6 mm) and an integrated strap whose contours follow the curvature of the case and the lugs. The new models are now available with matching dial and strap choices in various colours: eternally elegant black (5267/200A-001), a feminine matte white (5267/200A-010) and an audacious khaki green (5267/200A-011).
The Aquanaut Luce automatic was first launched in 2010 in a rose gold edition with a chocolate brown dial and strap. Today, this sporty and elegant timepiece is reimagined in a larger 38.8mm diameter and new integrated matte-white strap, affirming its feminine charm. The characteristic octagonal bezel features a polished bevelled edge and is adorned with 48 Top Wesselton Pure diamonds set with meticulous precision.
The Aquanaut is renowned for its association with the travel time complication and the Luce now has its opportunity to adopt this feature in its own fashion. The dual time feature uses the distinguished Patek Philippe skeletonised hand to display the hours of a second time zone. Making no comprises to the elegance and finesse of this timepiece, Patek Philippe incorporated a discreet and practical setting system via winding the crown.
Patek Philippe is reasserting the contemporary casual chic spirit of the Aquanaut Chronograph with the first white gold versions of this self-winding model. The new Aquanaut Chronograph models are invigorated with a contemporary blue-black gradient dial and bold khaki green version each with matching composite straps.
