The New Gucci - A Journey of Desire

Over the last two years Gucci has forged a new identity. They’ve left behind a muted and minimalistic lifestyle and their brand new personality has stormed the fashion world. It is now a vibrant brand that’s full of life. It presents a glittering and animated lifestyle that’s filled with colour.

The changes are down to the new Creative Director – Alessandro Michele. Alessandro wanted to bring excitement back to the brand with plans to disrupt the fashion world. When he joined in 2015 he pulled together a men’s collection in five days. It was Gucci as you’d never seen before and the world knew that Alessandro had arrived.Gucci

He then embarked on a ‘journey of desire’ aiming to transform the entire brand. Michele’s unique creative vision led Gucci down a new path. He had originally studied costume design and this flamboyance and eccentricity was to be reflected in his vision and striking designs. With his exciting ideas Michele completely changed the fashion industry, taking it in a new and colourful direction.

Now it is time for Gucci watches and jewellery to transform in line with the catwalk. Everything produced has now been given the ‘Alessandro Touch’ and they all have something unique about them. The pieces can be broken down into Fashion pieces, Contemporary pieces and Classic pieces, ranging from really striking and outlandish looks to more classic products that have a hint of the Gucci DNA. They’ve taken the iconic interlocking GG logo and updated it, presenting it in new ways and with splashes of colour and classic Gucci emblems, such as the horse-bit have been givenGucci a makeover.

Every piece is unique and stands-out, whilst matching the eclectic catwalk collections that strut down the runway. The contemporary and eye-catching additions to our selection match the quirky and urban feel of the brands bold new aesthetic. Gucci looks are now maximalist and the watches and jewellery act as a nod to the new designs, allowing you take part in the revolution in a more subtle way.

This new direction has made Gucci the most in demand fashion brand in the world. They’ve redefined luxury for the 21st century and have created a new culture in the fashion world. Their new identity is integral to Gucci and they have become THE brand to be wearing and seen in.
