On Monday 30th of January, we were delighted hold our second Chinese New Year event at our store on George Street. With local businesses, customers and staff coming together to mark the beginning of spring in the Chinese calendar, it was a great reason to celebrate and welcome the year of the Rooster!
To ensure everyone was kept busy on the evening in traditional style, we had a number of activities on the evening including Chinese silk painting, tea tasting and calligraphy. We continued the celebrations with our wonderful friends at Appetite Direct who served a fabulous selection of dishes such as dim sum and seared scallops – there wasn’t any empty plates, that’s for sure!
To keep the celebrations going all night, we held a prize draw to win two stunning Astley Clarke bracelets. A very well done to our lucky winner and we hope the red bracelets will bring you fortune and prosperity!
A huge thank you to all our guests for coming along to make it such a great night and start the Chinese New Year celebrations so well!
