WHAT ARE LAINGS EXCLUSIVE CREATIONS? 

Designed and crafted in-house, Laings Exclusive Creations pays tribute to miracles of nature, with individual gemstones selected to become incredible pieces of wearable art. ​This exclusive collection is a true celebration of gemstones. These pieces speak to their wearer, making them a perfectly unique gift. Our Exclusive Creations encourage personal expression and highlight the unique nature of every woman, mirroring the distinctive personality of each gemstone. This special collection inspires emotion, giving a voice and a home to rare and incredible gemstones. 

WHO DESIGNS LAINGS EXCLUSIVE CREATIONS? 

Our Exclusive Creations pieces are part of a unique jewellery collection, with every piece individually designed by one of our in-house Laings jewellery designers. We are proud to have a jewellery designer in each of our Laings locations across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Southampton. Our expert design team consists of the talented Felicity Lynden, Kirsty Berry, Adrien Leroux and Head Designer Sarah Alexander​. Each piece holds an object of rare beauty, something which is both artwork and jewel, with a design that is woven around this wonder of nature. All the designs were created for an individual gemstone, and each designer who worked on this collection based their designs around the unique gemstones. 

WHO MAKES LAINGS EXCLUSIVE CREATIONS? 

The colours, combinations, cuts and stone types are all married with human creativity and skill, bringing to life the beauty of the gemstones through craftsmanship. CAD Designer, Sally Fenton, turns the designers’ visions into 3D models before they are passed along to the goldsmiths to be created. ​ Every piece in the Exclusive Creations collection has been brought to life in our Edinburgh workshop by our team of goldsmiths Emma Millar, Filipe Gonzalez and Vivien Lam. Each of our goldsmiths combine traditional philosophy and modern cutting-edge techniques to exercise their creative talent. Our dedicated stone setter, Emma Miller, handsets every stone in the Exclusive Creations collection. Emma completed a three-month Diamond Optical Setting course at Alexandre School, developing a rare skill of becoming a stone setter.
