Who is in the Team?

"Our small but mighty team is slowly growing and currently, we have four members. I’m Carol, Head of E-Commerce and, we also have our amazing E-Commerce Assistants, Logan and Claudia, who handle the everyday running of our online store and website. Then we have our SEO and digital whizz, Natalie. We all work together to create the best experience for our shoppers, answering questions and amending our website to be as user friendly as possible." – Carol

What is the Difference Between Buying Online and In-Store?

"This year due to the pandemic and store closures, we've seen more and more customers using our online shop. Here you can view every product we have to offer from the comfort of your own home. The main challenge is not being able to see the product in front of you – but that’s where we come in. We speak with our customers over our live messenger service or by email, answering any questions and doing our best to find you the perfect watch or piece of jewellery, just like in our stores." – Logan

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

"In e-commerce no two days are the same, we’re always helping our customers with enquiries and liaising with developers, as well as the stock department and stores. On top of this, we’re constantly working on our website all to ensure our clients have a smooth and enjoyable experience as they start their journey with Laings." – Claudia

What is the Best Part of the Job?

"Honestly, helping people. My favourite enquiries are those planning a surprise engagement or gift for someone really special. It is so fun to help someone choose the perfect piece and often they get back in touch to say the receiver loved it. It's a rewarding process and one of the reasons why I love my job so much." – Natalie
