Fabergé Limited Edition Egg Objets
Fabergé’s iconic egg objets are renowned worldwide for their artistry and allure. Laings is delighted to showcase this incredible artistry and present the Wild Strawberry Surprise Egg Object, limited to only 10 pieces in the world. The vibrant red enamelled egg hosts a charming wild strawberry sitting upon a yellow gold guilloché base.
In celebration of the 180-year anniversary of Fabergé, the Colours of Love ‘180’ Mini Fluted Limited Edition Egg Objetwas released. Featuring two round responsibly mined Gemfields Mozambican cabochon rubies framed by fluting in a radial pattern, this joyful creation takes its inspiration from ‘fluted’ gold creations in the Fabergé archive, a technique for which Peter Carl Fabergé was renowned, and which featured heavily in his early works of art.
Fabergé x Laings Thistle Objet
Limited to just one special collectors’ piece, the Fabergé x Laings Thistle Egg Objet draws inspiration from Fabergé’s extraordinary ‘In Bloom’ collection – a series which pays homage to Peter Carl Fabergé’s renowned flower studies. The thistle was selected as the unique surprise token for the one-of-a-kind creation, inspired by the beauty of nature and Laings’ Scottish heritage.
The craftsmanship of the Fabergé x Laings Thistle Egg Objet follows suit with Fabergé’s esteemed reputation as masters of their art. With each element meticulously hand finished, the creation perfectly demonstrates the mastering of an age-old craft. The opening of the egg features a responsibly mined Gemfields Mozambican cabochon ruby, working as a contrast to the navy blue guilloche enamel and acting as a delicate focal point to the exterior of the egg. The attention to detail is mirrored on the inside of the egg, revealing a thistle surprise sitting on an 18k yellow gold, black rhodium plated guilloché base. Each thistle is hand-painted with green and purple enamel.
