History
In 1840, brothers James and William Laing began supplying Clydebuilt vessels with silverware and precision instruments – work that would develop nearly two centuries later into one of the largest independent luxury jewellers in the United Kingdom. Horology expertise has always been at the heart of Laings; we offer an exceptional collection of fine jewellery and Swiss watches, including Rolex at all four of our locations across the United Kingdom.
Six generations
Previous generations have paved the way, and we take inspiration from our founders to craft and develop new, innovative ways to push boundaries in the world of luxury. Joe Walsh was appointed CEO in 2011, and Laings has grown in strength thanks to our team – some who have dedicated over 40 years to our business. Our reputation of being one of the leading family-owned jewellers in the UK is one that informs every pillar of Laings, with our roots dedicated providing to an unparalleled luxury experience from beginning to end.
