In 1930, businessman César de Trey was given the duty of determining how to protect the watch glass of polo players during play. De Trey had the wonderful idea to create a casing that could be reversed. The watch was designed by René-Alfred Chauvot who asked his friend Jacques-David LeCoultre to create the watch. And so the Reverso watch was born.
Made from stainless steel, this pre-owned Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso model features a silver dial with Arabic numeral indices and steel sword-shaped hand. Powered by an automatic movement, this watch offers water resistance to 30m. The timepiece is presented on a brown leather strap with a pin buckle fastening. In keeping with its name, the case of this timepiece can be rotated to show a highly polished case back.
