This Patek Philippe Grand Complication Perpetual Calendar timepiece is produced in a 40mm cae expertly crafted in 18ct white gold featuring a rose-gilt opaline dial with a day, month, leap year and day/night indication in apertures, moon phases, charcoal gray gold applied numerals and luminescent coating. Interchangeable full back and sapphire-crystal case back. This model is presented on a shiny chocolate brown alligator strap with square scales, hand-stitching and a fold over clasp. At Watches and Wonders 2022, the vintage style has been reinterpreted in a new white gold version fitted with a gilded opaline rose gold dial. The classic feel of the timepiece is carried on with the calendar displays arranged in the same timeless manner of Patek Philippe’s perpetual calendar watches since 1941. It is not just aesthetically pleasing though, the extremely accurate moon phases require a one-day correction only once every 122 years.
