An exciting launch from Patek Philippe - the manufacture's first in 25 years - combines renewed elegance and contemporary accents. This platinum model is headlined by its brand new movement including a grand date, day/date and moon phase complications. The development of this new movement included no less than six specific patent applications, a homage to the meticulous attention to detail Patek Philippe embodies. Alongside its peers in the Cubitus collection, the 45mm platinum case is in a square shape, offering water resistance to 30m and a sapphire crystal caseback. Its slender profile is enhanced by both polished and satin-brushed finishes. Set into the bezel is a single baguette cut diamond at the 6 o'clock position. Previous Patek Philippe platinum models have featured a single diamond, however this Cubitus watch is the first to feature the rectangular baguette cut diamond. A sunburst blue dial sits at the heart of this model, with the signature horizontal embossment acting as a backdrop to a plethora of details including white gold applied baton-style hour markers that contour around the square shape. This model is offered on a blue composite strap with a fabric pattern and contrasting cream stitching, secured by an engraved folding clasp. The modern 'casual chic' style is echoed through every facet of this new Cubitus model.
