The Patek Philippe Cubitus 5840P 001 marks the first Grand Complication within the Cubitus collection, presenting a striking fusion of contemporary design and high level mechanical complexity. Crafted in platinum, the square case with rounded corners measures 45mm diagonally (10 - 4 o'clock) and has a thickness of 10mm. Alternating polished and satin brushed finishes accentuate the architectural lines of the case, while a baguette cut diamond set at 6 o'clock discreetly signifies the use of platinum. The watch is water resistant to 30 metres, features a screw down crown, and is fitted with a sapphire crystal case back revealing the movement.
The sunburst blue openworked dial, distinguished by a horizontal line motif, reveals the skeletonized architecture of the movement beneath, creating a layered depth effect while preserving legibility. Its openworked mainplate and bridges echo the geometry of the watch, and the movement is finished in accordance with the stringent standards of the Patek Philippe Seal. The timepiece is completed with a navy blue composite strap featuring a fabric inspired pattern, secured by a platinum Cubitus fold over clasp.
