This Cartier Ballon Bleu 36mm watch features a mechanical movement with an automatic winding. It boasts a steel case with fluted 18ct yellow gold crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel. This timepiece features a silvered guilloché opaline dial, with roman numerals and blued-steel sword-shaped hands protected by a sapphire crystal. This is all elegantly presented on an interchangeable two-tone bracelet. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 metres/100 feet).
Adopting a weightless style is the Ballon Bleu watch by Cartier, thanks to its gentle curves and soft design. Crafted in 2007 for a unisex audience, this timepiece echoes those traditional round shapes with a more balanced design, particularly noted in the winding crown that is perfectly integrated into the case. To avoid any breaking of the circumference, the bezel, case and dial gently contour round the winding crown, whilst traditional roman numerals and sword-shaped hands pay tribute to the Maison’s design language seen across their watch offering.
