The Monaco Grand Prix
Without a doubt over this month the French Riviera is the place to see and be seen. Between the Cannes film festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, everyone who is anyone has descended upon this most beautiful and decadent part of the coast.
The Cannes film festival is of course a hotspot for celebrities who walk the red carpet draped in the best the couture fashion and jewellery worlds have to offer. The other main event of the season is the Monaco Grand Prix - arguably the most glamorous event in the Formula 1 calendar.
The Monaco Grand Prix - as with all Formula 1 races is sponsored by Rolex who are the official Timekeepers of the race. The history of Rolex's close ties with motor racing goes all the way back to the 1930's. Both companies are of course driven by a passion for performance and precision as well as technical excellence. As with Rolex's own long history, Formula 1 is an icon of endurance and classic events deeply steeped in tradition.

It was in early 2013 that Rolex became a Global Partner and Official Timepiece of Formula 1 which, like Rolex is present across the globe with 20 races organized in 20 countries across five continents.
Like the Cannes film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix lends itself to a gathering of the most glamorous stars and moguls.
Celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Will Smith and of course Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger are often spotted enjoying the sights and sounds the Grand Prix and Monaco itself have to offer.

With the races taking place from the 21st to the 24th of May this year it is certainly going to be an event worth watching - even if just to marvel at the billionaire's "toys" lining the marinas on Monaco's waterfront. And if you are lucky enough to be jetting in to the city for the festivities remember to keep your eyes peeled for famous faces as well - you never know who you could be rubbing shoulders with!
