The Botanic Collection is an exclusive selection of jewellery that Laings created to honour the beauty of the city that we call home. Here at Laings we’re experts when in comes to fine jewellery and with our Botanic Collection we’ve created something that’s truly special.

A Bespoke Creation

We wanted to create our very own bespoke range of jewellery that’s exclusive to Laings customers and thankfully, we had the perfect team already assembled! As part of our in-house bespoke jewellery design team, Head Designer, Kirsty Berry was free to use her creativity and work from her own inspirations. Coupled with our skilled jeweller the Botanic Collection was brought to life and uniquely handmade in our Glasgow workshop.

A piece from our Botanic Collection is a true Laings product filled with luxury and we’ve really enjoyed watching the exquisite pieces come to life.

The Inspiration

Kirsty was inspired by the green spaces of Glasgow and all the natural areas that make Glasgow a really handsome city. However, her main inspiration was the charming Botanic Gardens in Glasgow’s West-End.

“With nature blossoming at every turn, the rich heritage of parks, gardens and open spaces help to make Glasgow a beautiful city. Glasgow Botanic Gardens is a place filled with wonder, from leaves falling gracefully to the ground in autumn, to flowers in full bloom under summer sunshine, this has always been my favourite place to wander. The current collection has taken inspiration from these walks and the botanical and other natural forms I marvelled at throughout the seasons. I love watching the way nature moves and how it interacts with everyday life, re-creating this in jewellery designs. My aim with the ‘Botanic Collection’ was to enhance the natural beauty and femininity of the wearer using natural designs that truly dazzle”. - Kirsty Berry

The Natural Pieces

The Botanic Collection is a wonderful selection of white and yellow gold pieces that are completed with dazzling diamond details!

WHITE GOLD DIAMOND EARRINGS: Inspired by elegant flowers, the marquise and round brilliant diamonds remind the wearer of bright buds that bloom beautifully in the summer sunshine. Even if it’s a grey day in Glasgow, you’ll definitely sparkle with these.

YELLOW GOLD DIAMOND DRESS RING: The warm glow of the yellow gold is reminiscent of a radiant summer sun and the natural inspiration behind this ring definitely shines through. Rainy days are banished with a ring like this in your jewellery box.

WHITE GOLD MARQUISE CUT DIAMOND PENDANT: The glittering marquise diamonds are reminiscent of beautiful leaves. With nature taking centre stage the pendant has been designed to appear as though glittering autumn leaves are fluttering elegantly from a crisp sky.

YELLOW GOLD DIAMOND EARRINGS: The wonderful warm tone of the yellow gold perfectly reflects the glowing autumnal hues of falling leaves and the pretty diamond setting adds just the right amount of sparkle.
