Rolex unveils 2015 Basel Collection

The new Yacht-Master is a striking watch that features an 18ct Everose gold case in either 40mm or 37mm sizes, a black dial with red Yacht-Master text, a black ceramic Cerachrom bezel with raised numerals, sapphire crystal with Rolex’s famous cyclops date magnifier and an all new bracelet, the Oysterflex. The Oysterflex is a titanium and nickel alloy metal blade that is over moulded with a black elastomer material. It is as supple and comfortable as a high performance rubber strap but it is also much more durable and less susceptible to damage than standard rubber. The bracelet features a patented cushion system to stabilize the watch on the wrist and it is secured with an 18ct gold folding clasp.

This new size Day-Date is a stunning iconic watch, available in platinum, white, rose and yellow gold with the option of adding either a diamond bezel or diamond dial to make it shine.

It also contains Rolex's new in-house Calibre 3255 which is twice as accurate as a COSC certified movement and can run for up to 70 hours off the wrist.

The new Calibre 3255 ia huge advancement from Rolex who never fail to push the boundaries of watchmaking and reliability. The success of the 3255 can be attributed to no less than 14 new patented innovations one of which being the Chronergy escapement, made from nickel-phosphorous which is totally anti-magnetic. 

Originally released in 1926 the Oyster Perpetual has come a long way and with this new introduction the range is more appealing than ever. This new 39mm size of the Oyster perpetual opens it up to more of a masculine following. The Oyster perpetual is the purest expression of the Oyster concept, having no other function other than a reliable and accurate time display.

Rolex has also continued to offer a range of brightly coloured dials to match your taste or alternatively you can choose a more toned down dial and it can be used everyday. With this new size and new dial colours, this is not only a practical watch but it also fun and can take you from day to evening with effortless ease.

The new Lady-DateJust 28 isn't just a new size, the metal, dial, bracelet and diamond options are outstanding. You can choose from 4 precious metals, president or jubilee bracelets, new style dials as well as a diamond bezel. In particular the rose gold with diamond bezel is a first for Rolex.
