The Rolex BaselWorld 2014 Collection

One of the highlights of the calendar each year is the world’s largest annual watch exhibition BaselWorld in Switzerland. A showcase for the world’s most outstanding luxury watch and jewellery brands, the exhibition provides an unrivaled opportunity for buyers, celebrities, media and watch collectors alike to get an insight into the trends, new designs and brands leading the way.

True to form, Rolex unveiled a new flight of exciting pieces. Here are my favourites.

GMT Master II – A world first with its new version of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II equipped with a two-colour Cerachrom bezel insert in red and blue. This colour combination, long considered impossible to create in ceramic, is a dream come true for enthusiasts of this Emblematic model. 40 mm, white gold, bezel with two-colour Cerachrom insert in red and blue ceramic, black dial with Oyster bracelet.

Milgauss - An avant-garde watch with green sapphire crystal and an electric Z blue dial with an Oyster bracelet.

If colour isn’t your thing, the new Sea Dweller 4000 is a contemporary version of the classic Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller with a 40 mm, steel bezel with black Cerachrom insert, black dial and Oyster bracelet.
