Perfect for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas gifts, bespoke design is truly special.
We’re delighted to offer our clients the opportunity to gift the bespoke design process. This involves purchasing a loose gemstone, which your loved one can later have made into a piece of jewellery. It’s a wonderful option for those who want the recipient to be involved in the creative process and bring their own vision to life—a great choice if you’re unsure which jewellery item to create.
The Process
Creating a bespoke gift for your loved one is a multi-stage journey involving planning, design, and craftsmanship. You’ll be paired with one of our expert bespoke designers, who will guide you through every step. Their role is to bring your vision to life.
As part of the process, your designer will create detailed sketches of your design—these will be gifted to you as a special keepsake once the project is complete. You’ll also have the opportunity to select the gemstones that will be used in your piece.
Next, your design will be brought to life digitally by our CAD designer, allowing you to review and approve it before it moves into production. Once approved, our skilled goldsmiths will begin crafting your piece from scratch in our workshop, with regular updates provided throughout.
Finally, your bespoke gift will be beautifully presented and ready for you to give to your loved one.
When should I begin the process?
If you're considering a bespoke jewellery gift this Christmas, it's best to begin the design journey by the end of September. Most bespoke pieces require an eight-week lead time to ensure they’re ready in time for the festive season. For those opting to gift a loose gemstone, early December is the ideal cut-off. This thoughtful option allows the recipient to unwrap a beautiful gemstone on Christmas Day, followed by a personalised design experience in the new year—a truly meaningful way to celebrate.
