Jaeger-LeCoultre takes centre stage at Laing Edinburgh

Scotland’s oldest family jeweller, home to one of the largest collection of luxury watch brands outside of London, is proud to welcome this world renowned Swiss Manufacture to LAING Edinburgh from April 2014. A major player in watchmaking history since 1833 in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, the Manufacture of Jaeger-LeCoultre exemplifies the art of fine watchmaking, creativity, innovation and technical skill.

With 181 years of heritage, tradition and innovation in Fine watchmaking, Jaeger-LeCoultre watches characterise over 180 skills of watchmaking expertise, from the rarest craft to cutting-edge technologies, all manufactured under one roof. Driven by a uniquely inventive spirit, Jaeger-LeCoultre perpetuates the tradition of Grand Complication models illustrated by extraordinary creations and legendary watches such as the Reverso, the 101 watch, the Geophysic, the Memovox, the Master Control, the Gyrotourbillon, as well as the Atmos clock, driven by changes in atmospheric pressue.

Building on a vast heritage comprising of 1,242 mechanical watch movements and around 400 registered patents The collection, which will be stocked exclusively by LAING EDINBURGH in the City, boasts the new Duomètre a Quantième Lunaire 40.5mm with Grand Feu enamel dial and the Duomètre Unique Travel Time in pink gold. There will also be a selection of the Master UltraThin models from the iconic Master Ultra Thin 1907 to the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual in pink gold. Key icons of the brand such as the Reverso will also be present, in particular the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 chocolate and its distinguishable Fagliano strap made of cordovan leather. For the Ladies the stunning diamond set Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin Duetto’s in pink gold and steel and the new Rendez-Vous Night and Day collections.
