FOPE was established in 1929 in by Mr Umberto Cazzola.

Yes, FOPE originated in Italy almost 100 years ago, and the brand prides itself on staying connected to this Italian heritage and the rich history of goldsmithing in Italian culture. The business is still owned by Mr Cazzola's family, now in the fourth generation.

WHAT IS FOPE JEWELLERY MADE OF?
FOPE jewellery is made of solid 18 Carat Gold, in White Gold, Rose Gold, or Yellow Gold with white and black diamonds. We are also proud to showcase exclusive bracelets which feature pink and blue sapphires, that are unique and distinct in their design.
WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF FOPE JEWELLERY?
The FOPE jewellery brand originated with Umberto Cazzola, who opened his artisan goldsmithing workshop in Vicenza, a city long praised for being rich with knowledge and jewellery heritage. Umberto's son Odino then turned this workshop into a factory and invented the expandable watch strap. Odino's children, Umberto and Ines, went on to create the iconic Novocento mesh and patented the Flex'it technology that FOPE is known for.

WHO IS THE CURRENT OWNER OF FOPE?
FOPE remains a family-run business, now in the fourth generation. The present CEO is Diego Nardin, and the current Chairman and Vice Chairman are Umberto and Ines Cazzola, the grandchildren of the brand's founder.
HOW ARE FOPE BRACELETS MADE?
FOPE bracelets are still made in the Vicenza factory, adhering to very strict standards which have been followed for decades to create the highest quality pieces. The name FOPE is an Italian acronym, translating to Factory Of Jewellery Precious Exports, highlighting the care that goes into the creation of their items. FOPE uses custom made, numerical controlled machinery to produce novel, innovative jewellery pieces, which are hand assembled to ensure a perfect finish.

ARE FOPE RINGS COMFORTABLE?
FOPE rings are arguably the most comfortable rings on the market. They are perfect for anyone who struggles with fluctuating finger size, difficulty getting rings over their knuckles, or loves the look of a casually elegant ring that can be dressed up or down for every day. The mesh technology means the ring will never feel too tight or too loose, ensuring a comfortable fit regardless of the environment.
HOW DOES FOPE FLEX'IT WORK?
FOPE flex'it is a patented invention that revisits one of Odino Cazzola's ideas from the 1950s for a flexible bracelet. Between each solid gold link of the bracelet is a system of tiny, solid gold springs, allowing the item to seamlessly bend and adapt to the wearer's movements. This meticulous engineering process allows the pieces to be incredibly durable, but also incredibly comfortable, and is a feat of jewellery engineering, despite the springs being so small they are only visible to the goldsmiths making the items.
