Ask Laings: Why TAG Heuer?

With the launch of the highly anticipated TAG Heuer Connected smartwatch on November 9th, we've decided to take a minute to catch up with some of the watch experts here at Laings about this fantastic brand.

Today we had the pleasure of sitting down with Assistant Manager of one of our Argyll Arcade store - Linda Robertson. We asked Linda just what makes TAG Heuer so special to Laings, and this is what she had to say...

Hello Linda! How long have you worked for Laings?

Hi there! I started in June 2008, so just over 7 years now.

What’s your favourite TAG Heuer piece?

I have always loved TAG's Carrera range, particularly this CAR2012.BA0799 model.

What sort of personality do you think that watch would suit?

I think it's a great watch. The Carrera is perfect for a young professional because it has that smart dressy edge - but it still has that TAG sporty feel.

What features does it have?

This is an automatic chronograph watch, so basically your stop watch feature.

Why is it your favourite?

I love the stainless steel case and white dial, but the contrast of the rose gold arabic numbers and hands is just beautiful. As I mentioned earlier, the Carrera range is dressy but still has that sporty edge. I think this watch looks just as great with a formal suit as does with a laidback style.
