The Laings Journal
This is my favourite watch of all time. It is the IWC Perpetual Calendar watch showing date, day, month, moon phase, and full year indication, together with an 8 day power reserve. The watch was first produced in 1983 , invented by IWC head Master Watchmaker Kurtz Klaus it is all set by just the Crown. No pushers as in other Perpetual Calendars so it is the simplest in the industry. At £28,000 it is also one of the most reasonable considering the Complications that the watch has. I have always loved this watch and would love to make this a retirement present to myself in a couple of years time!!. Having worked with watches for some fourth plus years , they have been my life's passion and the watch that I have chosen as my favourite is a real Masterpiece of High Horology.
