The truly exclusive evening celebrated the 2016 collection of Patek Philippe timepieces. Offering our guests the opportunity to browse the simply indescribable collection, as well as enjoying a mouth-watering meal at Hotel du Vin.
The travelling watch exhibition was definitely the star of the show. The pieces were first shown in March 2016 at the world-renowned Baselworld, however this was the first time our customers would be able to see the watches – a truly unique opportunity! Made up of 90 timepieces, including the latest models, a special anniversary piece, a new gem-set ladies watch and re-imagined classics, it is safe to say that this could be seen as the finest collection of watches in the world.
Patek Philippe was first founded in 1839 in Geneva and the beautiful Vallee de Joux and remains Geneva’s oldest independent family-owned watch manufacturer. Developing and manufacturing their own movements in-house they are always on a quest for exceptional excellence, accepting nothing less than the very best in everything they do.
Faithful to the noble artisanal watchmaking techniques they are the authority of fine watchmaking, always looking at the sharp details and the special touches. They proudly use the same skills that they have been building their watches with for years, allowing them to sit alongside more advanced technology in perfect harmony.
With Patek Philippe holding such a special place in the hearts of watch enthusiasts all over the world, it was no wonder that our exclusive evening was so highly anticipated!
The guests arrived at the gorgeous building in the Westend, beautifully lit up with lanterns guiding them into the wonderland of watches. Inside the elegant building of Hotel du Vin the amazing collection stood proudly on display, waiting to welcome their guests. The champagne was then poured and they were ready to be admired!
Our guests were then free to browse the amazing collection on display, mingling and taking in all of the stunning timepieces.
Patek Philippe watchmaker, Philip Jensen, was also on hand throughout the evening to offer more of an insight into the amazing world of watch-making. The guests could learn more about the intricate workings of the pieces and how Patek Philippe ensures that their watches have the mechanics to be the very best in the world. Philip was able to share his expertise whilst giving everyone a chance to get closer to the pieces.
On top of this the guest also were treated to a mouth-watering meal from Hotel du Vin. They were all seated in the gorgeous dining room to enjoy the delicious food on offer – and of course chat about their favourite timepieces of the evening!
