In 1904, the Santos de Cartier was created, allowing the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont to be able to tell time while flying. Cartier became known for the birth of the first ever wristwatch. The watches are popular for their rounded angles of the dial, the seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws along the case and bracelet.
