Designer Adrien Leroux perfectly enhances the citrus colour of the manadarin garnet in this elegant trefoil ring. An image of sweetness and rich summer days, the mandarin garnet was discovered in Namibia in the 1990s, with its distinctive colour capturing the hearts of jewellery lovers across the world.
The explosive brilliance of this non heat treated gemstone is undeniable, with the marigold hues casting a warmth throughout this jewellery creation. Expertly set in an 18ct yellow gold setting to embrace the richness of its colour. Leroux chose the mystical trefoil design for this piece, derived from the Latin word 'trifolium,' meaning 'three-leaved plant.' This arrangement of diamonds alongside the mandarin garnet is both captivating and harmonious, enhancing the overall elegance of the design.
Total diamond weight 0.14ct.
Inspiration behind the design:
"To me, mandarin garnets are small rays of their native Namibian sun that have been captured in gemstone form, a gift from the vast desert in which they hail. The sweet and decadent colour of these garnets is something I wanted to emphasise. I decided a platinum setting would embrace the warmth of the ring and be an excellent addition to the marquise cut and round brilliant diamond shoulders. I believe this whole design came together and is a true testament to its main gemstones origins." - Adrien Leroux, Designer
