Service Consultants

We have some opportunities available within our Service Department in Edinburgh for full time Service Consultants. As a Service Consultant you will be responsible for all repairs in the Service Department, including organising and liaising with jewellers, watchmakers, watch technicians and brands to ensure customers are kept up to date with every stage of their repair. The right candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a flexible and positive attitude to ensure our customers receive the very best experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Booking in internal and external repairs from customers
  • Liaising with external workshops regarding estimates and timescales
  • Complete administration tasks including special orders, invoices and estimate generation
  • Communicating with customers as and when required to discuss their repair/ estimates
  • Provide advice and explanation of their estimate and works proposed
  • Introducing of Pre-Owned Watches to our customers
  • Increase awareness of the Service Department and promoting other products and services e.g. batteries, reseals, watch/ jewellery services
  • Notifying customers to inform work has been completed and the repair is ready for collection
  • Assisting the Service Manager and the rest of the service and sales team/s as and when required

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Positive attitude and friendly approach
  • Good organisational skills
  • Great communication skills, dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexible approach and willing to assist in a variety of tasks
  • Ability to react to customer situations
  • Knowledge of luxury watch and jewellery brands preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of the technical aspects of jewellery and watches desirable
