TAG Heuer Legends are Reborn at Watches and Wonders 2022

TAG Heuer turns to its most celebrated collections for this year’s Watches and Wonders, reinventing timepieces which go beyond the edge to explore great depths and watches worn on the wrists of legends as they make history on the racetrack.

Aquaracer Professional 300 Orange Diver

Designed for work and play, and to endure nature’s harshest challenges, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 is a symbol of TAG Heuer’s fearless, avant-garde spirit. This collection is reinvented with a vibrant look inspired by legend and watch enthusiasts’ favourite, diver reference 844.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Orange

Understood across the globe from the racing track to outer-space, orange is one of the universal colours for speed, security and records, used on racing tracks and on NASA spacesuits. This distinct feature graces the new addition to the Aquaracer family. Over the years, the vibrant shade of orange has made a number of appearances in the world of TAG Heuer diving watches, remaining an important colour to those close to the water. As a symbol of safety and security at sea, the intense orange tone used in the dial of the reimagined Aquaracer is so distinct and striking, contrasting against the deep blue of the ocean, and allowing its wearer absolute legibility during challenging diving conditions. As one of the main features of the collection, legibility is also enhanced by the indexes and hands, which are coated with white Super-LumiNova to stand out from the dial.

TAG Heuer once again, goes beyond the edge, remaining true to its adventurous spirit and delivering an Aquaracer which is sure to become as legendary as those it took inspiration from.

Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

Striving towards constant reinvention and innovation, TAG Heuer unveil an even more robust and extreme addition to the Aquaracer family. The Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is born for the deep, equipped with calibre TH30-00, created by one of the most highly regarded movement manufacturers in the world.

The design considers every detail of the challenges professional divers face. The 45mm case, hour indicator in the form of an arrow and highlighting the most useful hands for diving in orange to allow legibility within the depths of the ocean.

Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph

TAG Heuer Solargraph

TAG Heuer harness the power of the sun with the new Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, the brand’s first ever solar-powered watch. Truly a watch for the outdoors, the Aquaracer Solargraph recharges through the power of light, meaning there is no need to change the battery of the watch, and with only two minutes of light required, will run for a whole day. Marking a major milestone in innovation and the brands commitment to sustainability, the new Aquaracer marks the first timepiece from TAG Heuer utilising calibre TH500-00 which uses the renowned and proven “Eco-Drive” solar dial technology for the first time in Switzerland.

Carrera Plasma

An unveiling which disrupts the world of fine watchmaking, TAG Heuer introduce the Carrera Plasma, featuring lab-grown diamonds. This timepiece focuses on both avant-garde aesthetics and technology, entering the sector of lab-grown diamonds and demonstrating unbounded creativity in this unique and versatile watch.

The Carrera embodies the rich legacy of TAG Heuer, the quintessential classic watch, which demonstrates the brands affiliation with motorsports. TAG Heuer unite this classic timepiece with cutting-edge technical prowess to culminate the ultimate innovation, offering consumers a timepiece which is truly unique.

Carrera X Porsche

Both demonstrating a dedication to design excellence, a powerful mindset and a rich history, the shared passion of TAG Heuer and Porsche lends itself to creating ground-breaking timepieces. For more than 50 years, their paths have constantly been meeting and intertwining both on and off the racetrack. The strong and lasting bond between TAG Heuer and Porsche is built on the foundations of motor racing, and one of the strongest common features is undoubtedly the Carrera itself.

Carrera X Porsche

The TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph is reinvented to honour this esteemed partnership, enhancing the watch with Porsche’s aesthetic appeal. The yellow colour is incorporated in various elements of this creation, which is inspired by Porsche‘s racing yellow, reserved by the manufacturer for the sportiest of its vehicles. The unmistakable design is united with technology which allows the watch to live up to the performance of its inspiration. A movement manufactured entirely at the TAG Heuer factory in Chevenez, consisting of 168 parts including a column wheel and a vertical clutch equip the limited edition piece. These features allow for an exceptional chronometric performance, such as its impressive power reserve of 80 hours.

Monaco Gulf Special Edition

TAG Heuer, Gulf and Porsche first united when legendary Swiss racing driving, Jo Siffert, was a friend of Heuer and also the driving coach of Steve McQueen for his movie Le Mans. Jo Siffert at the wheel of the Porsche 917, decorated in the colours of the Gulf, lead to the association with Steve McQueen – who drove the same car in the mythical movie wearing the Monaco on his wrist.

TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf

This legendary timepiece returns, refined and reimagined, including for the first time ever, the in-house movement Heuer 02. Maintaining its distinct design, based on the three iconic colours of the Gulf, the Monaco takes on this inspiration in a more contemporary way, combining the special dark blue, turquoise, and orange. Focusing on the watch’s dial, the Gulf accents are incorporated in a more elegant and refined way, a gentle nod to the racing brand accompanied by the sleek aesthetic of the Monaco. Not only do the distinct Gulf colours appear to the right of the dial, in a Monaco Gulf first, the minute sub-counters at 3 o’clock are also adorned with the distinct colourway. More original features in the Monaco Gulf watch series include the all-white Gulf logo on the dial and the 12 o’clock index replaced by the number “60” – a tribute to the racing number on the Porsche Gulf racing cars.

Monaco Gulf

Channelling their expertise to incorporate racing heritage into every fraction of the new Monaco, TAG Heuer’s craftsmen designed a personalised version of the oscillating mass and common wheel with special engraving coloured to match the Gulf orange pantone.
This Monaco Gulf celebrates an era where some of the world’s most celebrated racers took to the track, inspiring a timepiece which is fit to honour this unforgettable mark on history.
