Founded in Scotland
Founded in 1969 in the Grassmarket, Edinburgh, by Jane Davidson, now Jane Hall, the original boutique sold British brands such as Jean Muir, Ozzie Clark and Jean Varon. Heralding the importance of a family heritage parallel to our own, the business is now safely in the hands of Jane’s daughter, Sarah Murray, and has moved to a beautiful Georgian townhouses of the capital’s Thistle Street. Growing steadily since opening, the ground floor has now expanded over 3 times in the last 10 years, serving Scotland with the finest garments and luxury fashion. With an international offering like our own, both Laings and Jane Davidson represent some of the finest brands from around the world.
