The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra is all about versatility. The Swiss brand has taken the Aqua Terra into exciting new territory by introducing a seconds hand.
Renowned Archetype
The Aqua Terra draws inspiration from the earlier Seamaster models, which have been produced since 1948. While the Seamaster adopted the role of a robust diving watch, the Aqua Terra serves as a stylish dress watch which can also withstand contact with water. This iconic collection has earned its place as an everyday OMEGA staple and its unique dial deems it unparalleled in the watch industry. Reminiscent of wooden decks found on luxury yachts and boats, the Aqua Terra dial ensures the collections place in sailing culture.
New Features
The distinctive dials of the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra include an new element, which elevates its complexity and visual aesthetic. A small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock has been added to the new models, encircled by an applied subdial ring: many in 18K Sedna gold and a selection set with diamonds. This feature adds a new visual dimension to an already unmistakable collection.
New subtle sun-brushed shades complement the addition of the small seconds subdial as well as two-tone teak patterns with eye-catching hour markers and the inclusion of diamonds arranged incrementally from 6 to 12 o’clock. Each model is available in matching metal bracelets or leather straps in an array of colours. Four movements feature across the collection in including two luxury calibres (8803, 8917), each distinguished by an 18K Sedna gold rotor and balance bridge.
Tested at the Highest Level
To match the quality and finesse of the design of the Aqua Terra, the functionality is held to the same high standards. OMEGA ensures the Aqua Terra will perform perfectly every hour of each day by testing to strict levels by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). Each watch will also come with a five year warranty and Master Chronometer certification card.
