Unfold The Infinity With Jaeger-LeCoultre's Latest Collection

Laings is proud to present Jaeger-LeCoultre at this year's Watches and Wonders, a celebration of pioneering technology and luxury watchmaking. This year, the brand introduces new Reverso models, challenging fine watchmaking norms and embodying elegant sophistication. Unfold the infinity with Jaeger-LeCoultre.

At the beginning of the 1930s, the challenge emerged of designing a timepiece that could withstand the British Army officers' polo matches in India. The Reverso was born in creating a solution to this problem – cleverly concealing the dial by reversing the case to reveal a back that fully protects the dial from possible mallet strokes. The Reverso has since charmed both men and women's wrists, exuding femininity in jewelled models or affirming masculinity in its apparent complexities and Art Deco aesthetic.

Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185

Jaeger-LeCoultre unfolds infinity in the world's first watch with four faces, the most complicated Reverso timepiece ever made – Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185. With 188 years of pioneering innovation, Jaeger-LeCoultre continually sets boundaries in the domain of fine mechanical watchmaking. The latest edition continues this legacy with a model six years in the making – the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185 Quadriptyque.

The new model features three displays of lunar information on the Reverso cradle's interior face; the synodic cycle, the draconic cycle and the anomalistic cycle. The timepiece can predict the subsequent global incidence of astronomical events such as supermoons and eclipses – the world's first wristwatch to provide such a deep reading of the cosmos.

Reverso Tribute Small Seconds

This year, Jaeger-LeCoultre pays tribute to the early use of the green colour that distinguished the iconic collection as the brand introduced the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in Green. Over the decades, the Reverso has appeared with a variety of dials and in different case sizes. The 2021 model is a reflection of the deep green of the pine forests surrounding Jaeger-LeCoultre’s home in the Vallée de Joux.

Reverso Tribute Nonantième

In 1991, 60 years after the Reverso’s creation, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the first model in the collection with complications: the Reverso Soixantième. And now, nine decades after the Reverso was born, La Grande Maison introduces a new alliance of complications.

The front dial of the Nonantième exudes refinement and elegance presenting a moonphase display set within the circle formed by the small seconds counter. Flipping the case over reveals an entirely new visual expression classic complications.

Each piece requires remarkable skill with multiple artisans applying different crafts. The finished pieces demonstrate the extraordinary results when fine watch and jewellery making unite.
