Luxurious Evenings with Rolex and Laings

At Laings we’re proud to stock one of the world’s most luxurious Swiss-made watch brands, Rolex, and our exclusive events are the perfect way to celebrate their stunning collections. We’ve hosted events up and down the country and thought we’d give you all an insight into what went on.

Rolex    Rolex

Rolex is one of the most iconic watch brands and they are world-famous for their performance and reliability. Their watches make a statement and are easily recognised, being synonymous with luxury horology. They’ve also achieved a number of innovations, such as the first water-proof watch, and have constantly pushed boundaries, whilst retaining a classic feel.

Our Rolex evenings were filled with luxurious timepieces and sparkling jewellery from Laings…

DOVECOT STUDIOS

Dovecot Studios is a fabulous space in Edinburgh. The tapestry studio and centre for contemporary arts, crafts and design is a renovated Victorian pool building and is a really unique space that’s filled with character. Throughout the evening we had a jazz band setting the tone whilst guests were delighted by canapes and a dessert station from Appetite. There was an array of watches and jewellery there and guests had the chance to try on their favourite models.

CHEWTON GLEN

At the 5-star luxury hotel, Chewton Glen, in Southampton we treated guests to an indulgent evening. Chewton Glen is a country retreat to escape to and we let our guests escape to a world of luxury watches and fine jewellery. We served up a six course dinner, with wines paired to each dish. Throughout the meal the diners were spoilt for choice as watches and jewellery circulated the room.

CROSSBASKET CASTLE

Our Glasgow customers were treated to a night of grandeur at the luxurious Crossbasket Castle. The 17th century castle has been lovingly renovated and the Grand Roosevelt Ballroom provided sumptuous surroundings for the evening. The guests enjoyed a delicious meal and spent some time browsing the tempting collections. They were also entertained by Ginny and The Tonic - a piano and vocal duo with a twist of lime - and fittingly treated to some Rock Rose Gin in their goodie bag, a special thank you to them!

Tudor also joined us at Crossbasket. In 1946 Hans Wildorf, the founder of the Rolex Watch Company, decided to start a new brand offering the durability, reliability, and precision of a Rolex watch, but at a more accessible price point. The result was a distinctive brand with an adventurous heritage, technical prowess and an acute sense of style.

A huge thank you also to our photographer Gerardo Jaconelli who captured some fantastic images at Dovecot Studios and Crossbasket Castle!
