A Family Affair
Benjamin Woolfield founded the business in 1786 and Deakin and Francis has remained in family-hands ever since. The business is now run by brothers James and Henry Deakin, the seventh generation, who continue to build on their prestigious heritage and family values.
The brothers began learning about the business when they would spend time with their Father in the workshops during the school holidays. Now, James is passionate about designing new cufflinks, taking inspiration from all over the world and creating innovative designs. Henry on the other hand enjoys meeting customers and is excited about the future of the brand, continuing to build on their rich history.
Skilled Craftsmen
Deakin and Francis cufflinks are all handmade in their English workshops by highly-skilled craftsmen. They place a real emphasis on having the best possible craftsmen in their team, from jewellers to enamellers and engravers, every single person working on a pair of cufflinks is an expert in their field.
