Today we speak with senior sales consultant Jacqueline who works in our newly opened, third Laings store in the Argyll Arcade - she is renowned for her fantastic rapport with customers and has an affinity for knowing which diamond is the right diamond for you!
We wanted to find out what it is about jewellery that she loves and maybe pick up a few style tips along the way:
What is your favourite jewellery/watch piece that you own?
I would have to say my diamond set wedding ring, when I first got it I actually wore it as an engagement AND wedding ring because the size and sparkle of the diamonds means that the ring looks great on it's own. I have since added to it with a beautiful engagement ring that I often wear alongside it for that extra sparkle!

What piece of jewellery/watch would you aspire to own?
If I had free-reign to pick something, I would choose the 18ct yellow gold Oyster-Perpetual Rolex. Its a lovely statement piece which is truly timeless and the pinnacle of the Rolex collection and luxury watches in general - in my opinion it is the ultimate aspirational piece.

I don't really have a "celebrity style icon" but I would say that I love the 60's era as I like to make an effort to look glamorous, I also love Grace Kelly who encompasses classic beauty and elegance.
What would be your Engagement Ring style choice, Classic, Vintage, Modern Classic or Unique?
Classic for me without a doubt! It doesn't ever date and will last you a lifetime.
If you were a character from a movie who would you be?
I would say Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, again she is timeless with a love of diamonds!

What about your birthstone, would you stick with your original or change it if you had the choice?
I am July which means Rubies, but I would prefer to go with diamonds.
In your opinion what is the best buy available in your store?
I think it would have to be a ring from our new Signature Collection - the range has just launched in store and is due to arrive online soon and there is a 0.72ct round brilliant diamond ring with a 6 claw setting for just £2695 which in my experience is an unheard of price for such a great quality, certified diamond.
