Welcome to our meet the team feature where you can get to know the people that help make Laings of Glasgow what it is today.
Today we meet the Laings Glasgow E-commerce manager Claire Logan - 26 year old Claire has been with the team since the launch of the new online department in August 2012 and she manages both the Laings of Glasgow website and sister store Robert Stewart.
We asked her to share some of her thoughts on fashion, jewellery and watches and here's what she had to say:
Whats your favourite jewellery/watch piece that you own? I recently treated myself to a gold Micheal Kors watch from our Robert Stewart store. I chose it because it has that slightly over-sized, boyfriend watch style which is bang on trend right now and the beauty of the Michael Kors range is that is is fashionable, fantastic quality but within a price range that is affordable.
What piece of jewellery/watch would you aspire to own? I would love to own the CHANEL J-12 white ceramic watch because it is a true aspirational piece and something I would wear for the rest of my life. I love CHANEL as a designer brand and believe that investing in a great quality accessories like watches, handbags and jewellery means you can stay stylish from season to season, year after year.
Who is your celebrity style icon? My celeb of the moment has to be Mila Kunis, I love her effortless style and she does casual sophistication just as well as she does red carpet glamour.
What would be your Engagement Ring style choice, Classic, Vintage, Modern Classic or Unique? If I had to choose I would go for a Modern Classic with the diamond shoulders because it's something a bit different from the traditional style, it has a classic feel but with a modern twist and I know it wont ever go out of style.
If you were a character from a movie who would you be? I would say Kate Hudsons character from how to lose a man in 10 days, because I like the characters style and laid back attitude.
Let's talk birthstones, would you stick with your original or change it if you had the choice? Mine is Sapphire for September and I would definitely stick!
In your opinion what is the best buy available in your store? I love the small round brilliant Carat* London earrings, at only £72 they are a perfect choice for someone who cant quite stretch their budget to diamonds yet but wants good quality and a touch of sparkle.
